[阿薩姆紅茶] 老欉/台茶8號
阿薩姆紅茶，是從印度阿薩姆省引進茶種，
Assam Black Tea, which was imported from Assam region, in India, since the Japanese occupation era. As the height, humidity, and soil condition around Sun-Moon-Lake (in Nantou, Taiwan) are similar with Assam region, the Assam tea trees grown here has high quality and great taste.
In the past, Assam Black Tea grown in Sun-Moon-Lake was the tribute presented to Japanese Emperor, so-called the “Emperor Tea”.

A new variety tea tree, uneasy to look after, and only has low output, there are only a few Rose Quartz Black Tea in tea fields around Sun-Moon-Lake. As TEA PAUSE wishs more people could enjoy the fantastic taste of Rose Quartz Black Tea, we started to grow the tea tree since 2012, and in the present time, the entire planted area has over 4,800 square meter. The tea has strong aroma, with scents of citrus and chrysanthemum.
